I don't have an answer for you but have you searched the forum for "Only one usage of each socket address". There appear to be several others who have had this problem but I can;t find a specific cause. How about this thread

Does it persist after a reboot?

Do you have the web admin enabled?

I do have web admin enabled, same problem again after a reboot yesterday but different error message, logs attached, it is the recording service log at 9:30am approx. and the database is locked first before the problem happens...bummer!

Basically what is happening is that after a few recordings, the database gets locked, and no recording can occur after that until I restart the recording service..

Any ideas?

I'm wondering if its something to do with the web admin. Are you able to run without it enabled for a few days to see if you can reproduce it?

gEd, I looked through that thread, but there was no resolution, I am using the latest version of EWA though and have now disabled it in the config.

sub.....I have seen this for some time....in my case it occurs if something blows out the recordingservice (i.e. if you update web\application files in ewa without stoping the service first) and I am watching something on the MVP.....I need to shut down the MVP....wait a minute and then do the restart on the recording service and it then restarts......

From the dump I don't think it is anything in ewa......

Yeah, thats been my suspicion about this reported error for a while. Something behind the scenes in the ASP.NET runtime libraries causes the GBPVRRecordingService.exe process to be reloaded in-process causing it to try to listen on sockets already in use.

I'll try to look into it for the next release.
