Does the PVR-150's IR blaster work with GB?

I read in some other post that the PVR - 150 does not come with an IR blaster.

However it DOES come with an IR blaster and also a receiver. Has anyone being able to use that blaster?

the ir blaster splits off from the same plug the ir reciever uses, ie one plug with two devices attached (at the base of the plug ie the part you stick into the card ), the ir blaster cable is then about 6 feet long and the ir reciever is the same length as for all the other hauppauge ir recievers(about a 1.5metres i guess, never measured it).

sub said that the ir blaster will be supported in the next release of gbpvr, which we can then assume hes already got it working.

I have a PVR-150 MCE setup downstairs and MVP connected upstairs. I am thinking of buy another PVR-150 but with the IR blaster and remote. Will I be able to set this up downstairs, connect my cable box to it and control GB-PVR via MVP upstairs with MVP remote (ie. change channels, turning cable box on and off,...)??

I bet with a few more donations the wait will be shorter j/k with ya. I just got my PVR-150 and need to get things setup. After all is working I'll be sending in my donation Unfortunately that will be a couple weeks off yet.
