Hmmm.. I found the settings after entering through Windows Media Player and modifying the codec settings. (Not sure if they set the default settings but there was no option for that). Sure that it was the settings for that decoder as it looked exactly like the pictures on their site but still no dice. The DVD playback actually hung until I changed the navigator from Cyberlink DVD Navigator to DVD Navigator and had the settings of Cyberlink Video Decoder, Dscaler Audio Decoder, and I tried a variety of outputs including default waveOut renderer.
Cyberlinks software passes through SPDIF ( I tried again just to make sure something else wasnt gibbled).
Sounds like the point of frustration here is mainly that GB-PVR doesnt contain a way to modify the codec's settings for GBPVR (as I think someone stated above). This is why I was looking for some sort of config file initially.
Is there such a thing? Even in the reg or anything. Of course I can just pop out of GB-PVR and go to Cyberlink to get my SPDIF for those awesome surround movies but I've got everything running through GBPVR on a HTPC and would rather leave the mouse in the cabinet. Plus this setup doesnt have a monitor, I have to enable the projector to really be able to read everything and thats kind of overkill to change a few settings, its not instant to get it up and I cant really use it during daytime.
