Young and the Restless was recording and looks like it made it to the end.
Next recording Failed to start.
Status shows Young and the Restless still recording.
Rebooted computer to clear.
GBPVR UI slow to come up after reboot.
GBPVR showed old pending recordings but then cleared them.

Another thing that may be unrelated is that I saw in the log that the post processing was attempted. Everything in the config processing panel is none, not checked, no process except for the processing times.

are you running addepisode in your postprocessing.bat?

check to see if there is an error at this time in your windows event viewer.

I just installed Saturday so I'm not quite up to speed. I did not make any changes beyond the config screens. I will check the system event log and see if I find anything.

I found 1 event where the recording service terminated unexpectedly. Could not find a postprocessing.bat which would make sense I hope.

This error is after the reboot and not part of the original crash. The -1 log shows the recording. Also, I see that the time stamps look way off as they should be 16:00 ish. Not sure what is up with that.

The one thing I see that is up is that GBPVR is trying to transcode recordings which I don't want it to do. These are also older recordings created by Beyond TV. Why is it trying to do this when on the config panel I have everything turned off?

Set <LogSQL>true</LogSQL> in config.xml, then reboot, then reproduce the problem and zip and attach the logs.

Here is a log with LogSQL true. GBPVR is trying to transcode Lost which was deleted from the directory yesterday. Lost was created by BTV.

Setting the processing start and stop time in GBPVR to 12am 12am seems to stop the attempt to transcode.

We've seen this specific transcode error in the logs a few times and I've put some safe guards in place for the next release. Its basically caused by an incorrect filename in the post processing queue. You can fix it up by executing the following SQL on the database using a utility like SQLiteSpy.

Code:
DELETE FROM TRANSCODE_QUEUE

I dont know if thats what caused your recording service to crash though.
