I have just done an upgrade to Vista Ultimate. I removed and then reinstalled gbpvr and now the mvp restarts after after about 1 minute
I have the same problem with the mediamvp software. Has anyone been sucessful with Vista and the MVP?
I am having the same problem, but the funny thing I noticed is that the first time I ran gbpvr after upgrading to vista it worked perfectly full screen. I only got the problem after restarting my system. Also I see my video is playing slightly choppy, wich is most likely a result of Vista being a resource monster.
For the time being I have just auto hid the taskbar, you still see the window outline on the right and bottom, but at least the taskbar isn't there
I'm running Home Premium (since last night, but have rebooted). It's running full screen just fine, but I have the PC hooked up to both a monitor and the TV (fullscreen is on the tv).
I don't have an MVP, so I can't test how it works with Vista
AMD-5600 (2.8GHz) X2 AM2, 2gb pc6400, NVidea GeForce 8600GT 256mb dx10, Hauppauge pvr-150mce, Hauppauge pvr-500, Vista Home Premium.
5 Hard-drives, total 1.8 TB
GB running on my PC, as well as two wired MVPs.
This is happening to me also. The window resizes itself to the same size as the screen, but you need to manually put it in the corner, and borders are still visible.
Has anyone been able to resolve the fullscreen issue with Vista yet? My task-bar is always showing, and the full-screen does not completely cover the screen; there is a gap on the right side of the screen.
I do know how to use auto-hide on my task bar, however in XP I need not have auto-hide configured in order for GBPVR full-screen mode to cover the task bar.
