Tuning Problems PVR 150

Hello

I have the PVR 150 and when I Try to startthe Tuning Assistant, I always get the erroro message:
ConnectionPins failed - an the, in the next window:
Failed to connect pinNameCrossbarVideoDecoderOut to pinNameAnalogVideoIn.
The the Tuning window comes up and the autotuner starts to scan but it doesn't find any programm.
I tried to reinstall the drivers and deinstall wintv software, but it still don't work.
Has anybody an idea what this is?

Hi masonman. The tuning assistant doesn't work in some non-english countries (but will in next release). You dont need to use the tuning assistant for GB-PVR to function. So try GB-PVR itself, and see if you still have problems.

The tuning assistant doesnt actually change or setup anything in GB-PVR. Its just a utility that can be used to show what channels GB-PVR can see.

You can just enter the channel numbers that your broadcaster transmits on, into the channel numbers on the edit capture source screen.

I just got a blanc screen when I start the tv. I think there is a setup problem with my tv card.

When I start the wintv software in background and I start the tuning assistant, th assistant changes the programs in wintv2000 screen. Can there be a problem with the internal gbpvr tv program?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem:
My Hauppauge PVR 150 works fine with the WinTV program from Hauppauge, but I do not know, how to configure the GB-PVR for Live TV.
The same error message
"Failed to connect pinNameCrossbarVideoDecoderOut to pinNameAnalogVideoIn"
will be given by the tuner assistent and will be written in the logfile of the GB-PVR as well?
Any idea?
BTW: The TV card is connected to a cable in Germany

There was some information posted in the past about changing a line in direct.ini to get things going. It was something about changing 'Analog Video In' to 'Analogue Videoingang' (language specific) or something similar. I cant remember the exact details but hopefully a search will turn up something.

I think, the solution of our problem is still discussed in this topic My PVR150 don't work with gbpvr
(see the reply from mz-system regarding the direct.ini changes)

I will test it this weekend and give feddback soon.

as I assumed, if you change the direct.ini (section [Hauppauge PVR150] - if you use this card under XP)
from
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_VIDEO_IN=Analog Video In
to
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_VIDEO_IN=Analoger Videoeingang

- it works!
