Quote:2. i cant record one channel and see/record another chennel at same time.
3. i can record a channel and play an already recorded video file at same time.

I deleted all channels in the tuners and reentered 2 channels in each.
F.ex.
Cha1 (1)
Cha2 (1)
in tuner 1

Cha1 (2)
Cha2 (2)
in tuner 2
Delete your capture sources and recreate them using a real EPG source instead of manually creating your channels and all will be fine. Manually added channels are only associated with one tuner regardless of whether they have the same name. You need to use a real source like zap2it or xmltv get to get those channels in there.

Ok I will try that as soon as I can find some xmltv file suited for the channels here where I live in DK.
Don't think that I can use the zap2it.

Edit:
Ok, surfing on the net i found the xmltv-0.5.45a-win32.zip file and after looking and setting up the tv_grab_dk.conf file, i was able to "grab" epg starting xmltv.exe tv_grab_dk > xmltv.xml from promt.

Then adding new sources and updating with the generated file on both, everything workes fine.
Must finetune the tv_grab_dk.conf so i only get channels that I have, hope I can find something from what i think is the epg provider http://tv.tv2.dk/tv.

Thanks for the help until now.

PS. Shame that I got a small interference on the channels with some vertikal "shades". Must be the card since its also doing that on the external channel from composite input.

For future reference, its not a good idea to go back and do a major update to a post. I missed this update entirely, and only saw it changed when I read stustunz reply.

Ok. I didn't think of that sub, will remember next time Big Grin

It's not completely ok the EPG etc. but I will play with settings and stuff now that I got it worked.

But one last question for tonight: Since the channels are added from the xml file generated from online tvguide source, is it possible to add a channel not listed in the online tvguide?
And is it possible so that a channel is listed, but not get updated with EPG.
Some channel I don't need EPG, but would like to have them on list.

Good night.

And thx again.

If you need to do this, its best to manually edit the xmltv file to manually add the extra
tags, then click the 'update epg' button on each capture source. You only need to do this once. The channels will then appear and stay in the TV Guide even though future versions of the xmltv file do not contain these channels.

Ok, I try to add a channel inside the xml file.
But I don't seems to put the right tags.

This is the tag for a proper channel:

<display-name>3+</display-name>
<icon src="http://tv.tv2.dk/images/logo/5.gif" />

What do I need to "copy" from that?
I tried with:

<display-name>SBS Net</display-name>
<icon src="http://mydomainwithpictureof channellogo.dk/ChannelLogos/SBS_Net.gif" />

Thx

Something like:

<display-name>SBS Net</display-name>
<icon src="http://mydomainwithpictureof channellogo.dk/ChannelLogos/SBS_Net.gif" />

If that doesnt work, you might need to add one dummy programme that references this channel.
