AVerMedia AVerTV DVB-S Pro for freeview nz?

Has anyone got one of these cards? I only really want to use freeview satalite in nz.... so this card seems to do exactly want i want?

I have been using the Aver Media card for a while with nor problems. I also have Hauppauge Nova S. The Nova-T won;t be much use to you I shouldn't think as it is for Digital Terrestrial which doesn't start until March next year and will be MPEG4

I have been using the AverMedia DVB-S Pro card for a few months. Works fine with GBpvr except :-

The remote control does not work with GBpvr
GBpvr does won't use the Composite input, only satellite.

I say doesn't/won't work, but that could just because I don't know how to get under the covers & tweak things to make it work. If anyone can tell me how I'm all ears....

You are probably better off with a Hauppage card (Nova S ?) which is more fully supported.
