I have used the gbpvr on my media center computer, for a few weeks, scheduled recordings and starting recordings manually. Today when I tried to record a show (By pressing the record button) I got the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

I have tried to restart the software, rebooting the computer, logging on as an administrator and attempting the recording again. None of which has resolved the problem. Live TV displays just fine, so I know the TV tuner is still running and the recording service is still working. I still got 60GB of free space on the hard drive, so space isn't an issue either.

OS: WinXP Pro.
CPU: Core2 Duo.
Memory: 1GB DDR2 RAM.
TV Tuner: PVR350 (Yeah I know, not supported, but worked a few days ago).

Anyone got any good ideas ?

You'll probably need to post your logs.

Yep, post the logs - gbpvr.exe.log specifically.

I'm officially freaked out .

I don't know what has changed since yesterday, but today recording works just fine again. Well, I did go into the setup to enable the DVD plugin (Although I never got the DVD option to show up on the main menu) but I haven't disabled any of the existing plugins.

Well, if it ever happens again, I'll make sure to post my gbpvr.exe.log here Smile
