MVP don't play Live TV cable

Hi,
I got GBPVR up on the PC with a WinTV PVR150 and a FloppyDTV-c tuner cards.
It is working on the PC, both analog and digital cable channels.

I have connected a MediaMVP to the system, only recently I have tested it out fully. It is able to play live TV from the analog 150 card fine.
It does not play from any digital channel from the FloppyDTV-c. It either crashes or gives just a black screen (with some gui overlays, like epg info) when I switch to a cable channel on the remote.
Does anyone know how I can fix this, or in which direction to look?

What mux are you using? You need to be using either the Cyberlink or ATI mux so that it is recording .mpg files.

Thanks, mux was the problem. I saw muxchecker reported none, so I registered the latest cyberlink shown on the mux listing.
It is working!

Perhaps I have a similar problem here.

I am using the DVR-MS mux (for recording stability on digital transmission) and the MVP transcodes recordings pretty well.

But when I try to watch live TV it either replays the existing transcoded temporary buffer (from a recorded DVR-MS) or, if this file has been deleted the MVP reboots.

Cyberlink mux is registered, but it is although a new mpg buffer is not being created for the 'live' TV option. I get the impression that the MVP should request a timeshift recording and transcode on the fly?

If I choose the cyberlink mux in config.exe place of DVR-MS then live TV works, but I get the occasional corrupted recorded file.

Its's not really big deal, I just wanted to provide the feedback.

Sorry, but you cant use the dvr-ms option if you want do live tv on the MVP. The on-the-fly transcoding that is dont with DVR-MS files cant cope with files that are still being recorded, so you end up only getting a few seconds transcoded, and then the transcoder hits the end of the recording and drops out.

For this purpose you really need to using either the Cyberlink or ATI mux for recording.
