I found the bug and have fixed it. The fix will be in the next release.
I’m not sure if this is the same issue because I use I-xmltv for my epg source, but I found that the EWA version I’m using (came with 98.8) only searches the first two genre’s.
Will the update allow searching all the genre’s for a listing?
Thanks
Jim

Yes....it will search all 5 genre......the bug had to do with the genre's needing to be sorted prior to searching them.....

Hi UJB,
Just checking how the update is coming along?
I was also curious about the 5-genre number in the post.
Is the EWA limited to 5-genre per show, will the searches have problems if the show has more than 5 genre-types?
The DD spec allows 6-genres, and gbpvr adds âmovieâ making it 7. But Iâm not sure gbpvr has a genre limit, I can reliably search the 8âth genre using TV Listings from inside gbpvr.exe.
Iâd sure like to figure out why some genres canât be searched using the EWA, because I like using the EWA search options with my epg utility.
TIA
Jim

The fix is done but I am working on adding the ability to view the Photo Library via EWA so the fix will come out when that is done.
EWA will show however many gere are stored for the show. I know Zap2It has a max of 5 per show.....so whatever is stored on the gbpvr database for the show will be searched.

Hey UJB,
I wanted to let you know that I love the EWA, I consider it to be one of the coolest parts of GBPVR! I seem to be having a problem, however, with the genres being listed 3 times each in the drop lists. What could be causing this?
I'm running GBPVR 99.5 and have not updated EWA beyond what shipped with 99.5. If this is something that you've already addressed, I apologize. I searched through the forums, but couldn't find anything on this issue.

This really is not an EWA issue......it appears that sometimes the EPG load process loads multiple instances of the Genre's causing this duplication.
On you GBPVR Config do you have the option to do a complete EPG reload set? If not, I think if you check this and then force an EPG update that it should clear it up. The other option is to use a tool like SQLite Spy to edit the gbpvr.db3 database and remove the dups.....
Let me know how you make out.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I got busy and forgot to check for replies. I ran a command that Sub provided "gbpvr.exe -removeallgenre", and that removed all of my genres. I then ran the update epg from config, and all is well again.
