I love gb-pvr, but the one thing i want to know is, is there any other way to start recording a program while watching it, without having to go back to the main menu to get to the quick record??

Also, is it possible to record hdtv in this program? Becasue my usb stick is hdtv ready.

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps Big Grin

If you have the hauppauge remote you can hit the record button while watching a show to start recording it. If not, there are shortcut keys but i can't remember the record button at the moment.

Yes you can record hdtv with gbpvr. If you search the forum or the wiki i'm sure there's some details about setting it up.

You can press the record button. (or ctrl-k on the keyboard).

Yes, it is possible to record HDTV in this program, but whether you can depends on your capture device and broadcasts.

I'm not aware of any HDTV broadcasts in scotland.

Thanks anyway? The answer to both questions was Yes.

The question to you was do you have an HD signal that you can record?
