Live TV forward to catch up freezes

I have a MediaMVP and watch live TV through gbpvr and it works great.

I've noticed when I pause live TV and then come back and forward to catch up to live TV it always locks up so I have to restart me MVP.
As long as I do not catch up to live TV I'm fine. I can rewind, forward pause.. it's all good.

Any ideas what I should try?

I have a very similar problem.

During both timeshifting and watching TV that's being recorded to file, if I either catch up through the key command OR through fast-forwarding, playback will stop. I can still move back to the menu, and the program works as it should, except in control of TV playback, where no controls will work.

I'm using an ATI Theater 550 Pro.
GBPVR 0.99.12

UPDATE: Seems it's only during show recording, NOT timeshifting...curiouser and curiouser

Sorry guys - I'm aware it can a bit flakey doing this activity. I'll try to look into it again for the next release.

If it's any consolation the same thing happens for me with Windows Media Center. If I pause live TV and then try and catch up to live tv it locks up. GBPVR at least doesn't crash completely.
