Hi just a question,

I`m sitting in work and I`m trying to access EWA on my PC at home, But unfortuatlly I can`t, could the reason be the computer at home is in hibernation.

If so are there anyways to wake it up from hibernation, remotely from a outside the network pc via the internet.

Thanks for ant advice

I don't know the specifics, but you could if you read up on "wake on lan" (WOL) and "magic packet"s, I think. You'd need to set up your router to forward that magic packet to your server, once the server is WOL enabled (which you can't do until you get home).

you could check if your motherboard supports WOL while at work, unless you forget the modelSmile

I had some trouble getting it to work, till I discovered my router could send a wol-packet to the server, however only by telnet. Now I telenet into my router and from there wake-up my server. I have this semi-automised through my homepage.
