MusicPlayer - some issues

Looks like it's having problems reading some of the directory names..
Do you have some unicode characters in there somewhere that might be messign it up?
ie. In FillRootDir for root M: איפה הילד (in the logs those funny characters are just little squares)

Actually the problem now is coming from when the plug-in tries to extract the MP3 information from a file.

The problem is that the plug is looking for the file path and expects to find a \ in the string. Since you have mounted the subdirectory as a disk there is no \ in the string. The file where it is failing is M:100 Greatest Guitar Solos - 088 - Steely Dan (Larry Carlton) - Kid Charlemagne.mp3

Basically the plug-in only expects to find files in sub directories not in the root directory. A quick fix would be to mount the directory one level up as the root directory or to just specify the real path as a UNC rather than mounting the directory as a drive.

Thanks a bunch! works well now (with the quick fix of looking one folder above).
I even got rid of the drive-mapping (thought at the time the UNC path confused the plugin). works well with the \\...\share thing...

So to confirm this
1 This should work with gbpvr 99.12?
2 how do you add directories when i loaded it i had no songs show up and in config i must have missed something there didnt seem to be anywhere to add them can someone point me in the right direction please.

Yes, it works in 99.12.

The directories are specified in the main gbpvr config application via the Directories tab. Just add them to the list of Music Library Directories. Note that the plug-in expects that these root directories will not contain music files but rather will contain sub directories that contain the music files (for example, sub directories of albums or sub directories of artists with further sub directories by album). The nesting of subdirectories can be as deep as you want.

If its not working you can post the musicplayer*.log files from the jeff subdirectory and I can take a look.
