I use FastFind to find a show I wan't to record, select it, get the detailed popup but only the exit button is availible. I'd like to be informed of why I can't record it.

I was supecting a conflict, and checked in the TV-listing, but there was no conflicting recordings showing.

Great plugin!!

are you sure the program has already expired? i know if you browse the guide and select an old show only the exit button is available (for good reason). theres about a day of old shows kept in the database at all times.

Yes, it was four days from now, and I have EPG listings for ten days ahead. I was able to schedule it "manually" from the TV-Guide.

The reason why it is occuring is that channel is not enabled in the database.

The database has a table called source_channel_mapping and a field called enabled.

That field does not equal true, someone was having an error come up when they tried to record from a channel that was not enabled.

Can you record the show via the tv guide. If so maybe there is a problem with this logic.

Yes, that's what I found strange. It was no problem to add the recording from the TV-guide...

Regarding the source_channel_mapping table, I have three capture sources, if that can make any difference...

Is there any free tool I can use to view the (access) database with?

I am going to pull out that logic that checks for the channel being enabled.  I will try to post a release later today with that change.

FastFind is actually designed for MVP users in mind as well as PC.  It is a lot easier then pushing down 200 times.

I probably have a but with multiple Capture sources wow you record a lot.
