For me it would be helpful if their was an option to have the images larger. AFter downloading a bunch of images the other night and getting them in place I realized that they were not helpful for my setup and the wife preferred just the text.

BUt I'm pretty sure if their was an option to display larger images and less of them on one screen that wouldl be helpful.

I do agree these need to be configurable. I will investigate this.

Made images a little bigger. Can modify the size of the image height and width in the skin search for image in the skin.xml

Adding administration for the new reoccur (in the app it is called watchdog) since I already had a reoccuring.

You can modify the image size in the skin. And the number of entries per row and the number of rows. This should help with the user wanting large images for the wifes.

I'm running into a problem whenever I try to check disk free space using the XRecord plugin. I get "Error: COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW can not be used" Microsoft reports this is an InvalidComObjectException. (http://support.microsoft.com/default.asp...-us;325791) I don't know if anyone else has replicated this error, or if it's a bug to report. Thanks!

just set it to false.  Is there anything that would make the images more useful for you?
Thanks,

My main concern is to get as many entries as possible onto the screen. Maybee if you remove the text from under the picture, and instead show it at the bottom of the screen for the currently selected picture, I could show more images onto the screen...
I'd still like to know if there's more than one recording under the picture, so you could show that by making a bolder frame around the image, or something. After all a picture should say more than thousand words...

Anyway, I have to create the images manually so I end up skipping them for most of my recorded TV-shows. Anyone doing this automatically? Perhaps by automatically taking a screenshot say, 2 minutes into the show (since I got 1 minute prepadding).

*) One more thing, already scheduled recordings are shown in blue in the "top right listing" but that does not show when it is only one entry in the list - because that entry is selected by default, and then becomes yellow. Perhaps it could be marked with a character/icon instead?

I've also got some trouble setting recordings from Fast Find, that is integrated with Xrecord - on second thought I make that a seperate thread, Topic: FastFind woun't alow me to record stuff

agerdin (Anders) - Thanks for the suggestion.  It now works, as you say, like a charm.  I missed this because I only read the installation file rather than the full instructions.  I must pay more attention.

jorm - Also thanks for continuing to give me help.  I have now changed  <Advanced active = "false"/> as per you suggestion to blader_se. I also had to reduce the list number from 12 to 11 since the list was overflowing the display box.  Great addition to GBPVR.  Thanks.

Kayleigh, I will take a look at it. The code works on my machines. What version of windows are you running.

Chris,

Glad it is all working.

Bladerse,

I posted to your other thread as well. The next release will indicate with a character if the show is highlighted. * for already scheduled. ! for conflict.

Thanks,

I will investigate this.

I looked around and found some tools but none of them worked without converting the entire mpeg to jpg. If you find one please let me know. I want to use this with the scene selection idea of mine.

Is it only the one in xrecord? You can always copy your fastfind.dll into the gbpvr directory and xrecord will use that one. I think I know what is happening, I posted it to your other thread.

Just installed the newest XRecord plugin and love it... two comments however... (I'm sure you were expecting it, right?? [Image: smile.gif])

1) There's an "Export" option and another option which seems to make it seem like you can move movies off your main "Recording drive"... but when it says it wants to move it to like C:\video which I dind't set, and I don't have any space there... where do I set where this "transfer/export/whatever" option moves the movie too?

2) Whenever I select a show, it brings up all the relevant information with it, but it shows hour long shows as 01:00 minutes... I realize the convention is timecode based... but I keep looking at it and think... that show's a minute long? Could it be labeled as hours? so then you'd have 00:30 hours, or 01:00 hours? or have it determine what the size of the show is?

or did I just pick up on something that was missed? [Image: smile.gif]

The archive path is defaulted to c:\video, right now it is in the skin.xml that you can set the path. Export always is the same location as the mpg.

hehehe
I can put "hours" next to it.

Well, if it makes sense for minutes then you can keep it like that... to me, it just seemed like it was a show of "1 minute" in length... which made no sense. [Image: smile.gif]

Archive, that's it... I looked around for some info on those two buttons, and didn't seemt o find any... archive simply copies the mpeg to another dir, along with any comskip info if it's got it, while export has a script that runs to convert it to another format...

Correct?
