I know nothing about skinning. How can we make XRecord work in pvrx2 with the community skin for this guy who's family loves the community skin? XRecord works in pvrx2 with the blue skin.

BTW, I tried installing the SkinPlugin 3.0.1 for PVRX2 and it crashes when I select the Skin item in the menu.

The Skin menu item works with Community3 skin (which I installed separately) only and not with the blue skin which was all I had at first.

Yeah, I know about the problem..The issue is the structure that I used to create the Community Skin in the old interface is about 80% incompatible under the new method and means I have to alter quite a bit to get it working.

I advise all users who use the Xrecord suite to use Blue...I have no timetable realistically to update any plugins for quite some time. I am swamped in my personal life, and my weekends are when I can "Catch up" on life at home.

I can't seem to be able to use the skin plugin program. I installed the community skin and the skin plugin but in the config utility I can only select "community" skin which defaults to a gray skin I don't like much. I then go to:

C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Plugins\SkinPlugin

And run the skinpluginhelper.exe but the only thing that does is open up pvrx2.

I never get to a point where I can actually browse the different skins and options included in the plugin. I just upgraded gbpvr from a version about 7 months old. The only other problem I'm having is that in pvrx2 I can't get some basic functions to show up like "search guide."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Set 'Community' as the Skin in the config app. If all is installed correctly you should have a Skin option on the GBPVR main menu. Note that it's only for PVRX2.exe

The search guide has been aksed before on the forums and its one of the things that is missing for the time being in the swtich from gbpvr.exe to pvrx2.exe. Press Guide when on the guide screen to get to the search screen. Sub has said it will return to the main menu soon but for now this is how to get to it.

Maybe this has been posted before, could not find a reference here or on the wiki.
I have just set up a new client PC. Installed CS2 and the skin plugin. How do I get my actual configuration from the server to the client PC. I assumed there is some settings file, but where?
