BTW, also probably a good idea to specify the end time on programmes.

the application will have to option to convert the UTC time to the user's local time or just use UTC (for now I will just make it with UTC like in your example).

how to specify the end time? in the xmltv file example they have only the start time:

Ahh, you have to restart the Yahoo! Go for TV program. Then it updated the 13th day of listings.

Seems kinda shortsighted if they want it to be a 24/7 PVR software.

Sub, I have few questions:
1. will gbpvr call this application to get the listing or I have to make it pull the listing automatically everyday?
2. where should I save the xmltv file, in what folder and what name?
3. any advice? any ideas for making this app easy to use and useful?

Thanks,

I may be able to work around this issue.

What is Y! Go?
It is a pvr software from Yahoo. Basically the old Meedio. I did check for Canadian listings but unfortunately they are not supported yet by Go for TV.

I can't assist in question 1 (unless there is a way to have a plugin do the call. I think some of the other plugins update themselves (VA?)
2) you can put the folder anywhere that makes sense. You configure the path to the folder when you set up the xmltv source in Config (tuner setup)
3) My main question is on the uuid and how to get your own. I configured Titan and have Hauppauge software installed, but don't see anything in the reg.
