I just found the raven video plug in IMDB lookup broken too and that plugin made gpbvr for me about 2 yrs ago. In fact, that lookup feature made it.....

I will donate to reven and anyone else willing to continue working on it. I am sure others will, too.

I would consider pitching in, too, depending on the amount.

Maybe the thread should be switched from "dying" to "dead". I just installed 1.08 on my non-tv system, and it doesn't recognize MyVid anymore (or any of my plugins it seems).

Not sure if this is something fixable w/o updating the plugin itself.

UPDATE: I got it it to work by moving the plugin files into a subfolder in plugins I called "MyVideos". It won't open in the old interface, but it will from the new one (except, it opens the old one).

Maybe a re-skin will fix it.

I'm actually a little surprised you haven't just done the upkeep to keep it alive, and the following intact. At some point (presumably) when GB goes to an actual pay product, you'd have a ready audience to cash in on, assuming you'd be able to charge some amount for a pay plugin.

I'm not sure how much much it brings in, but I was willing to cough up for ShowAnalyzer. If soemthing is worth-while and invaluable enough, people are willing to contribute.

Wrong - it wont be becoming a paid product.

That's great then. I guess I always figured you were developing free to get to a "finished' product that would be retail, or even something shareware-priced. I thought that was part of the reason not to release any code.

Sub has made it clear several times in the past, that by recieving hardware assistance from manufacturers, and many Non-Disclosure agreements, he is not going to make this an open source program.
