Hauppauge remote doesn't work with pvrx2

I duplicated the gbpvr section in irremote.ini and called in PVRX2. restarted ir.exe but pvrx2 doesn;t respond to remote at all.

any ideas?

Clicking the 'fix hauppauge settings' button in the config app should create the correct entries for you in irremote.ini.

There is also a line needed in the [Applications] section or something like that.

if you look in the remote.ini you'll see a line like
GBPVR=

just add underneath it
PVRX2=
and you should be fine.

Took me a while to figure it out..
I didn't want to use the fix hauppauge settings option because i have custom irrremote sections for a different remote in there and didn't want to chance losing them. It would take me a long time to figure out how i did it again

I have the 45-button Hauppauge remote and it is not working after my upgrade either.

I tried clicking the 'fix hauppauge settings' button in the config app.
That did not enable the use of the remote.

I examined the irremote.ini and noticed that it now included PVRX2= at the bottom of the list.
It still doesn't work.

Any thoughts?

Does it have your section for PVRX2 that looks something like

All has been resolved.
After further review of irremote.ini I found a couple of interesting things.
The first was that it did include "PVRX2=" but did not include the list of the values. I copied and pasted Carlitos listed values and got preliminary results. Major navigation etc. Obviously Carlitos short list was not inclusive of every value. I tried to find a more complete listing but didnt see one.

I randomly retried the "fix hauppauge settings" at this point and got full functionality from the remote.

Did you try a masonic handshake as well or something else? Because I've just done all of the items noted in this thread and my remote still doesn't work with PVRX2. There is a PVRX2= in my irremote.ini, I have a [PVRX2] section with valid values, I restarted the IR. (all done twice). nada.
