Other than the SI units, it works great. Awesome.

Sub, when I click on one of the entries in the add area list the list's OnUiClick() method consumes the event and sets the focus to the selected item but it does not trigger the ActivateItem() method. To activate the item I have to press enter after selecting it with the mouse. Is that the way it is supposed to work?

If so, is the right way to cause the click to also activate the item for me to do something like this in my OnUiClick() handler

Code:
// give list first chance at handling it
            if (areaUiSimpleList.OnUiClick(location))
            {
                ActivateItem(areaUiSimpleList.getSelectedItem());
                return true;
            }

Thanks for the hard work, Jeff. It's a great plugin. I do have a complaint, however. The weather for the next few days is awful but don't know whether you can fix thatBig Grin

Yes, thats the way its supposed to work. Single click selects the item, but doesnt activate it. Double-click and ActivateItem() will be called. Using the remote, you just need to press ok/enter.

Jeff, I get the enclosed error when trying the updated plugin. I've uninstalled and removed the manual dll but still have the plugin in the legacy plugin folder. Would that cause this error?

You should delete the old plug-in from the legacy folder. I'm not sure what will happen in that case since one or the other might be loaded.

If you look in the gbpvr log directory there might be more information present in the log file to pinpoint the problem.

Yep, removing it from the legacy directory fixed the problem.
Thanks for the help.

Mixman, you might want to post the full log for Jeff, this is a fairly "normal" error message when a plugin doesn't have a specific start up routine. It doesn't more often than not, cause any problems...

There will actually be a a real error later on in the log....
