I'm rather new at this and just had a couple of questions for anyone who can answer. My card is a WinTV-PVR 150 with a remote running on a Windows XP SP2 box.

My questions:
1) Is there any way to start the gb-pvr program when you hit the Green Power button on the Hauppage remote? I'm using the WinTV IR program.

2) Is it possible for the gb-pvr to go into full screen mode with the remote? or even at all?

I believe that is all of my questions for now, thanks for the support and such a wonderful program.

Sorry, not sure on this one.

On the first screen in the GB-PVR Config, uncheck the option "Show in windowed mode" and it will start in fullscreen. You can also use <Alt><Enter> to switch between fullscreen and windowed mode. To do this with the remote, I believe you will need girder and assign a button with that key sequence.

This is what I have so I assume you must have a Hauppauge 150 remote that is not mce. if so, search "irremote.ini" and you will find the command to add to the irremote.ini file in your windows directory to make this happen. If you have an mce remote, you likely have to use a program called hip and there are lots of good instructions on the forum for making this work.

The latest one, that is compatible with version 1.08 is this
[Default]
; GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVR.exe)}
; GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\PVRX2.exe)}

open your irremote.ini in windows dir and edit in notepad...remove the ; from one of the lines above to make it work...if it's not in the default section yet, add one..make sure only one GRNPOWER= exists in the [default] section
[ ; effectively disables a line in irremote.ini]
