Download nightmare?

I've downloaded the lastest version several times - every time I try to install I get an error. It's occured to me that this is an update file and not the full GBPVR, but I can find no documentation or information to this effect. Futher, older version of GBPVR seem to have broken links. When I install, it says that I need to "notify the application vendor to verfity that it is a valid windows installer package".

I'm missing some sort of secret code or knowldege here apparently.
What's my next step?

Note: I've installed the mirosoft.net file so that's not the problem.
Also, my download seems to hang at 99% forever - if that helps isolate the problem.

About 15 minutes ago, I downloaded and installed it successfully on my second machine. I just clicked the "download" link on the front page.
