Hi!

I'm trying to download the latest GBVPR and update my older version. I get the file, backup my db & xml files, start the install, and get the following:

Installer Information

Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Cabs.w1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

I try several times to retry or ignore, but can't proceed. The GB-PVR Setup screen is stuck on:

Copying new files...

File: empty.db3

And finally:

Fatal Error

Installation ended prematurely because of an error.

Is there a known problem with the download, or am I doing something wrong?

Thx!

Confirmed, I was trying to d/l the file today and ended up with the same problem as above. I gave up after a few tries and pulled it from my media server instead. I did d/l it successfully from here in the past, but now it appears to be corrupt.

I'm having the same issue with v.13 - error 1335, and I have to roll back completely. I've tried downloading it again, thinking the d/l might have been corrupt - same error.

I don't know the timeframes based upon geographical location for the people who posted in the forums concerning the corrupted cab file, so I don't know if the file has been re-uploaded within the past two hours. I also attempted multile downloads and installations of GB-PVR 1.2.13, and all installation attempts failed to due a corrupt cab file. Without knowing if the problem was with my network, anti-virus, or XP 64-bit, I ran through a series of tests. I ended up opening the msi, and when I attempted to uncompress the cab file, Cabs.w1.cab, I found that the cab was indeed corrupted. In the end, I installed version 1.2.09, and that installed successfully.

Anyway, I just thought I should share just in case this information might help in correcting the corrupt cab file for version 1.2.13.

It was uploaded again less than an hour ago. I have tried downloading it and installing it on a clean machine and it installed fine.

I can confirm current download works fine. Installs OK and has same md5 checksum as the original download.
