These logs are via MVP, but I can't get it to work on the PC, either. No plugins.

I stopped the service, removed all logs, started, ran the scenario, stopped, and zipped the logs, so they should be short. I started the MVP, picked the first channel, changed to another channel, and then hit Prev Ch a few times. Each time the screen flickers like it's changing, but stays on the same channel. Sorry if this was posted elsewhere - I couldn't find it.

Can you check if Ctrl-W works on the PC for switching to the previous channel? I just tried this here on my PC and it seems to successfully toggle back and forward between the two channels. I havnt tried it on an MVP at this stage.

It works as expected in mvpmc

I've checked here with the Hauppauge dongle, and it seems to be working for me on the MVP.

I can see it in your logs, but not sure how it happens. If you start the live tv, change channels a couple of times, then press 'prev ch', does it always happen?

I have found out that last channel works when I change channels with channel up/down, but not when I change to a channel by typing the number. This holds true on the PC via keyboard and on the MVP, and seems to be consistent, not random. I don't have any plugins installed.
This is happening to me as well, I am using PVRX2 with a dedicated system(no MVP). Whenever I change channels with up/down or with the OSD Guide the previous channel (crtl-W) works, but not when I entered the channel number directly. Also, whenever I directly enter the channel the tuner changes but the sound for that channel doesn't play until the OSD info disappears.

But, I have no problems if the channel I enter is in the single digits, the sound and previous channel work as long as the channel entered in not above nine. If the channel has more that one digit the sound is out until the info display disappears and then if I press ctrl-W the screen flickers but the channel doesn't change.
I did find and fix this problem. It was one of the symptoms to a more serious problem described in a couple of other threads, where the channel change could happen several times (sometimes a dozen or more) when changing channels by keying the numbers. In this case it was switching to the 'last channel' which was the same channel given it was one of these many repeats. It only affected types of capture device.

With the attached patch you should find the ctrl-W works. Some people had reported it as a slow channel change. Some others had reported it stuttering when first changing channels.

Let me know how you get on.
