Comskip and FF/REW in 1.0.8 on MVP

After installing the patch the first show I played had the comskip markers visible. Each other item played did as well. So far it seems to work. Thanks much! The wife is happy!

Bizarrely I couldn't start the service back up until comskip finished running from the previous exe (and I couldn't kill comskip). I guess a port was kept open.

Does this patch included the other patches in the survival guide?

Yes, up until the date of this patch.

Try the attached patch to see if it fixes the problem with first MVP playback not working with comskip.

Backup your original file first though - I'm not 100% sure this patch is binary compatible with 1.0.8.

This resolved my comskip issue as well. It seems like a link to this should be in the survival guide. On the upside, this caused me to go get the newer comskip, which is faster.

I get a Windows send error box when I try to run the patch. I'm running 1.0.8 on XPSP2. Everything else seems to be working great. Any ideas? What do I need to post that might lead to a resolution? Thanx in advance.

You're supposed to extract the file to the GB-PVR directory, replacing the file of the same name.
