What you are are refering to is the EIT data present in the ATSC stream. sub would be the best person to implement this but I think he has stated that it is more trouble than it would be worth (my memory isn't great so I could be wrong on that). You are lucky to get 2 days worth of info. I get about 12 hours last time I looked into it.

Yeah, I think you were lucky getting 2 days, most people would get a lot less than that (often only a few hours), which makes it next to useless. Its not worth the large effort required if it'd only be useful to a small number of users.

well as i said its more of a "selfish" request.:o
i'm pretty sure the EPG data is now mostly experimental and i would expect this only to change in the near future as the digital transition comes to a close. europe's teletext often has a full week of programming (i'm speaking of the analog channels) so i'd assume if enough digital TVs that can read EPG will be sold then stations might have an incentive to expand their listings...

i see there's already an option called "parse dishnetwork EIT tables (EPG data)" in the "BDA advanced settings". i didnt enable that because i dont use a satellite card. would that be any good for OTA ATSC or could it be expanded by developers?

maybe i should add this to the "wishlist" and some developer may like the idea Smile

If you can find a way to extract it's listings as a xmltv file, then GB-PVR will be able to use those listings.

If you can find a way to extract it's listings as a xmltv file, yes. I've never used BTV, so couldnt tell you how you'd go about doing that.

I can look into converting the data. I'm somewhat familiar with it because of my work on the HDHomeRun and if I remember correctly, the data is accessible (I think it's in an xml file).
