I'm a newbee to GBPVR. I have a Plextor PX-TV402U, Windows XP Pro laptop. Using default blue skin. I'm liking GBPVR much better than the SW that came with the Plextor.
Anyway, this morning I installed .90 and I'm getting verious behaviors of the sort mentioned.
First, I get an error the first time I try the TV Guide, then on subsequent tries I get shown gibberish. If I guess correctly what guide cell I'm currently on, I can use the guide to watch live TV or setup a recording.
I can also use the Live TV button to watch live TV (in time shift mode), but on a channel change things freeze for about say 4-5 seconds, the channel changes to the correct destination, I'm shown maybe a second or two of audio/video, then I'm bounced back to the main menu. After that, channel changes stop working altogether - Live TV always takes me back to the last shown channel until I restart the recording service (otherwise the above behavior remains the same).
Note that I can only watch live TV in time shifted mode (true live TV studders), which is just fine by me.
If it would be helpful for me to run a scenario and capture the associated logs, I'd be happy to do so.
Rgds,
Carver
