I tried to install both cards together, no luck!
They both work perfectly in a one card setup.
As they use the same driver version (3.4b from hauppauge), I wonder if they work together.

please help
thx

Did both cards find channels during the scan?

ok, more details.
1) My initial setup had the Nova-S installed - worked well.
2) Then I installed the HVR-3000 - no luck
3) I removed the Nova-S and installed the 3000 (Both DVB-T and DVB-S work great).
4) Now I tried to add the Nova-S to the working system.
5) The DVB-T part of the 3000 card works, the DVB-S part not. When I try to setup the DVB-S part of the 3000 card, it tells me that the BDA-device is not found.
to sub: when I try to scan the channels of the Nova-S card, I get the channels from the DVB-T (3 channels in Austria at the time) part of the 3000 card all over again.
And I tried to change the device numbers with the result that the BDA-device is not found.

So I removed the Nova-S from the system as I need the DVB-T part.
thx

What exactly didnt work? Do you mean they didnt find any channels during scan? or did it give you an error message or something else? Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

How did you set the device numbers? They both use the same driver names, so one would have had to be #1, the other device #2.

If I check "Only show devices found in this machine" it shows me
DVB-T (3000)
DVB-S (3000)
and
Nova-S-plus

So I chose these 3 for my 3 recording devices

And If I just install the Nova-S to my system (without configuring a recording device in GBPVR), I cannot watch any channels from DVB-S (3000) - only DVB-T is working.
I try to reproduce the problem and submit the logs as soon as possible
thx

I sold the HVR3000 as I could not record DVB-T and DVB-S at the same time.

So I added a Nova-T to the system that has a working Nova-S-plus.
Nova-T works, I can watch and record the DVB-T channels (in Austria 3 channels) - but there are no DVB-S channels anymore.
When I tried to rescan I got the DVB-T channels as a result.

In the BDB.ini both cards have the same entry for FILTER_CAPTURE - can this be the reason??
I´ve installed the hauppauge 3.4b CD (drivers for all cards included).
Can somebody tell me if he/she has such a configuration running.

thx
