Hitting record while viewing Live TV

I just bought a PVR-150, and was playing around with it. I'm considering getting a MediaMVP for the living room.

There's a couple of features that are necessary for the wife to accept it (of course!).

I read somewhere that if you hit "record" while viewing LiveTV, it will only record that program until you stop viewing it in LiveTV. Is that true?

Also, any way to get the full guide overlayed (and transparent) while watching LiveTV?

Yes.

Yes, this is supported in the new release.

pulp - Circuit City has the MVP for $89.99 less a $20 rebate = $69.99.

I picked one up last weekend and it installed and worked great.

My wife can actually use it running GB-PVR !
