gbpvr media experience

I upgraded to 908 and the media experience skin doesn't work.  When I try to launch GBPVR with the ME skin, the program never opens.  I've tried 'reinstalling' the skin and it still won't work.  The default skins work fine though.  Let me know if there's something you want me to try. Thanks.

Did you add the 3DUltra.dll to the root directory? That's what did the trick for me when GBPVR wouldn't start after changing to the ME skin....

Torque are you 100% sure you are using the latest version of the skin? i uploaded what i thought was a fix before and it had bugs in it, then uploaded a new version. download it again and give it another try.

I didn't recopy that file when I reinstalled it.  I guess I assumed it would still be there after the upgrade to 908.  I'll check tonite when I get home.  Thanks for the tip.

that file should still be there, so i doubt thats the problem.

It still didn't work after I redownloaded it and reinstalled every file from the download. But...

I've been building up my 'production' HTPC with all new hardware and a fresh install of XP and GBPVR 908. I just installed the ME skin and it works fine! (except for the stuff noted earlier in this thread). So there must be something messed up on my test box from either the upgrade or something another skin caused... who knows.
