Hi, I just upgraded to 1.0.8 yesterday (I now see 1.0.16, but that's for another day). I can access all my previous recordings fine from the computer, but when I click on recordings in the MVP interface it hangs for a second, then returns to the 'searching for server' screen. I'm not sure what would cause this, as all the other items work using the MVP (photos, music, videos, live tv, guide). Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

*edit* The recordings are on the same path as the videos and music, fyi, in case that helps.

Lots of people found their firewall was getting in the way of playback via the MVP on 1.0.8, so that'd be the first place to look.

My windows firewall isn't even on, so it's not that. Any other ideas?

Are you positive? A couple of people said exactly the same thing only to find it was the firewall, which had automatically turned itself back on with some Windows update.

Either way, zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Norton Worm Security is another place to look...? (part of some NAV/Security Packages)

I had PVRX2 and GBPVRX2 allowed through the firewall, but (perhaps a MS Windows Update ?) discovered recently (when MVP would not connect) all those firewall settings had disappeared!

So even if you HAD set the firewall, good idea to recheck.
