"Custom task" and tasks "folders" not showing/working in 1.0.8?

In old interface they still work I think.

In PVRX2 the folder shows, but the program hangs when I choose it. The custom task don't show at all.

Correct, there is currently no support for custom tasks in the new user interface. They'll make a return in a future release.

These are used by very few people, so were a low priority for me.

And is there a plan to do something about it?

I mean - trying to use it as an "appliance" as much as possible, there shouldn't be an "Exit" altogether (it's enough that it's in the System menu, and I can always hit Alt-F4 if I use it as a PC).

I'll definitely provide the abilility to disable it, but havnt got to it yet. See my comment above about priority.

I do use Custom Tasks, but only for a couple of basic things. For example, I have a custom task button that kicks off a bat file to remap shares on my media server to drive letters in XP which gbpvr itself uses as media shares. If I can't use custom tasks in the new version, anyone know a quick n dirty way of creating a plugin to do the same job?
