Playing avi files

Just curious as to what most of you do when you have an avi file to play. Is there a way to switch back and forth between the GB service and Hauppauge service since the MVP off the shelf plays divx and avi's?

You can simply stop the GB-PVR MVP server and then just restart the hauppauge services and then play your AVI file.

Also work is being done to enable AVI playback through a plugin. Check
this thread for more details.

Thanks, I was just reading the thread. For now, I'll most likely just switch the services since just a few of the files are avi.
