Like johnnycam, my company heavily uses MS products, and with about 100,000+ pcs floating around it is conceivable to me that they would do something, but hearing Jonnycam have it as well, does dent that theory slightly.

As I said, they have an email, and an office address - hardly the best ID fraud info....

Yeah, and I was mistaken re: microsoft.co.nz it was the microsoft.com/nz/ addy.

hello yes i am beginning to wonder
they can get all sorts when answer the email maybe not about you but the company you work for
the details mean nothing of the company etc mean nothing i could do that easy enough then route it through some bot overseas and you would have no idea i sent it
it will be traced back to somewhere in india or the like

nothing will probably comeof it but sorry i cant see you getting no free software

Yeah, they can - I don't really care - that's why we employ IT people!
We are just rolling out Office 07 accross the company, not sure if that has anyhting to do with it.

The whole thing took me about 5mins - which of course work paid me for.

Dunno, I'm keeping an eye on both threads. The other thread doesn't seem sure as well.
