Hey I know this is a total new questions but is there a way to pause live tv.

I figured out how to configure it on my own by reading the forums. But I couldn't find this and I was sure if I was just missing it our if the features hasn't been added yet?

Thanks for any help

Pause is the Ctrl-Q key combination.

And yes it should pause live tv, Ctrl-P will start it again.

thanks psycik I was trying to use my remote controller for it but it just wasn't working for it.

I have a 45 button silver hauppauge remote. Is there any way to manually configure the remote?

ok I tried the ctrl+Q and it just took me to the menu

ctrl+p at the menu didn't do anything

Strange. I just tried on mine to make sure I didn't give you the wrong keys, and while playing Live TV (on live preview mode) Hit ctrl-q, screen goes black for a bit, then the picture comes back paused.

Ctrl-P to play.

There's a Fix hauppauge remote option in the config app, this used to set all of the keystrokes in the haupauuge remote control configuration file (c:\windows\remote.ini). It should still work - just whether it's been updated for the pvrx2 app rather than gbpvr.

But the pause button does the same thing as ctrl+q.

Goes black like you said and then goes to the menu

The solution to bungles problem was running the included ReRegisterFilters.bat. You most likely have the same problem.
