I'd like to be able to access GBPVR from the internet.
I can bring up EWA fine from my local home LAN, but I can't even access my local network from outside. I determined that my WAN address is 69.249.169.233 & can ping it, but http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx gives me:
Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I've enabled port forwarding on my router (Linksys WCG200) as follows:
Port Range
Application Start End Protocol IP Address Enable
GBPVR 7647 7648 Both 111.222.333.444 x
Is there something else I'm missing? canyouseeme.org says the port is open...
