New version released. These are non-critical updates that only affect a few people (including you Wakala). This weekend Whurlston and I are making sure we output the exact same xml so thats when new features will be added, but this release fixed a few bugs.

From 1.2.3 to 1.2.5
* Fixed bug where loading settings would knock channels out of sync for some lineups
* Added violence and language advisories
* Added HDTV flag for <video><quality>
* Fixed a bug where changing providers wouldn't disable remapping and could crash the program

I tried 1.2.3 but it does not create an xml file. Finally dont get the retry error. Here are the logs. I doubled checked the options on location of xml file. But it's nowhere to be found.

Can you post your ini file contents as well?

It thinks it worked... I wonder if it wrote it to the ini...

I think I've fixed my problems.

I got rid of of the 4 extra channels by exporting recordings, then importing to a new db3. Only had 1 Recurring that had to be set up again.

As for the channel format in the guide, I found that my original yapixml.xml was not being updated. I deleted it and started over, selecting option 2. Now the guide is how I want it.

Thanks for your app and hard work. I'm hoping it allows to to keep my 0.99.12 ver of GBPVR.
All is working as advertised accept that my guide is displaying channels in a random order.
is there some setting that I'm not seeing? I'vr tried setting up yapi2xml as both "#Short" and "Short" but it doesn't change my guide order.

Quote:This solutions seems to work for most people:

* open the capture source
* manually delete every single channel (you cannot shift click, you have to remove them one by one)
* click ok
* remove all the channels from any other tuners with this lineup
* click ok
* load the yapi2xml xml file for the first tuner (reload EPG)
* load the yapi2xml xml file for the second tuner (reload EPG)
* go to the channels tab and click remove all unreferenced channels

If anyone has a better solution let me know.

"click ok" was the step I was missing. Sorry for the noise.

1. Emptied my EPG
2. Removed all my tuners
3. Restarted the config program
4. Removed all unreferenced channels
5. Added one of my tuners
6. Downloaded your EPG
7. Loaded that file as my own
8. Updated the EPG
9. Started gb-pvr
10. Used the discovery channel to check at 12:06 PST
11. My guide said it should be How It's made - boats, yours said the same thing

This is definitely something with your GB-PVR setup. I'm not really sure what though. What is your computer time zone set to?

OZ, you are a genius... I am an idiot. You are handsome... I am not attractive. My time zone was set on Central time. Resetting it and reloading the EPG solved the time offset problem. Of course there are still other problems (channels out of order, etc) but I suspect they are not EPG related and I will seek my answers elsewhere. Thank you very much for your time.
