channel logos help

I copied jpg's named (ex: 2 WBBM) into the dir c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos

I am unable to see the jpg's in the TV Guide, but when I use the Search Guide I can see the jpg's fine.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Basicly, you just need to save channel logos in the channel logos directory making sure the image filename is the same as your channel name.

A good place to get logo`s from is here

rightclick on the image and save as

For example if you save the image "bbc1.jpeg" and the channel name is "bbc northwest" you must rename the image file to match "bbc northwest"

um... I believe its your skin, I think there are different options to display channel names and logos on the left side there. I forget what they are though... forum search would find it

I have my logos and they are named correctly and in the correct folder. I know this because when I use "Search Guide" I see the icons fine in the show description.

I looked into the skin\Blue\tv guide\skin.xml and it appears that the showChannleIcons is set to true. I also copied over the skin.xml I used with an old 0.98 version and that didn't work either.

Again, I am unable to view the channellogos in TV Guide.

Any other Ideas?

Try setting <TVGuideChannelHeaderType>0</TVGuideChannelHeaderType> in config.xml. The default setting '3' will only show the icons if most channel icons are present.

I just reset that to "0" and still no channel icons.

What are some examples of your file names? ie "2 WBBM.png".

6 WMAQ.jpg
7 WLS.jpg
8 WPWR.jpg
9 WGN.jpg
10 WCIU.jpg
etc. all in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos

As I said, the Channel Logos are viewable ONLY in the "Search Guide" area; the icon is seen next to the program description.

I Don't Know!!!!! Guess it's a small bug. Thanks for the help, hopefully it will fix itself, hahahahaha.
