Hi,

Aften updating to newest version i'm got a few problems. ´

A recorded program will not show on "avalible shows" menu, although its on disk?

Also - is the any smart way to delete failed shows? We do not have the PC on all the time, and it takes forever to manually delete "failed" recording from the GUI.

Thanks

Is this with shows you have recorded before upgrading or with shows recorded after upgrading?

Colin.

If they're not deleting then you may have to uninstall/reinstall to get rid of them.

You could try again to delete them, then email me (support@devnz.com) the gbpvr.exe.log file which will hopefully give me some clues why this is failing. This wont help you delete them, but will hopefully give me enough so that I can correct the problem in a later release.

Hmmm - things just got worse.

When trying to record a program it just keeps on recording (without saving anything to disk), and there is no way I can remove the item saying "Recording" from the "Recording-menu". Everything else is faling to record.

Also - the MVPServer console app is showing up sometimes - and i'm using a XP with a Hauppauge-card.

Do I need to make a complete uninstall, and remove everytrace of the old app before installing the new one, or should I make a new XP installation?

Thanks,

BTW - just an idea. Would it be possible in a later release to use regex to select programs for recording. This would make it possible to automatic record every show an actor was in, or every show where the word "zoo" was in the title og desc. Just a thought.

Just in uninstall GB-PVR and delete the c:\program files\devnz\ directory, then reinstall GB-PVR.

If you've got GB-PVR configured to autostart one or more MVP servers, then yes you can see these minimised to the desktop initially after logging in. If you close them they'll restart correctly hidden. Its only a cosmetic flaw, so not on the top of my things to fix but I'll get to it when I've got some more time.

I dont current store the actors or genre information, as its not available in XMLTV or bleb. That said, in future I will add a better search screen that'll let you search by keyword etc.

A more useful search for programs would be nice, but i'm talking about the abillity to schedule recordings from a regex-search. Just like season-record, but with a regex-seach instead of a title-seach (if thats how you do it).

Is it possible to write a plugin that schedules recordings? If so - i'll write the plugin.

Making a complete uninstall!

Just wanted to let you know - after a complete reinstall it seems to work again - even my RC.

Where can I find documentation about scheduling programs in GBPVR - do you have any.

Ooh - and forgot to tell you. This is an AWSOME app.
