EPG Utility: YApi2XML (discontinued)

I downloaded yapi, set it up under 3rd party file, downloaded listings for my area correctly, .xml file is ~17mb large, but schedule is blank in tv listings on gbpvr. I'm bet it's something simple I'm not doing correctly. Help would be appreciated.

Did you "Update EPG" in GBPVR? I didn't realize I still had to do that when I started with yapi.

The app is really coming along Oz. Been using it a few weeks now, works great. Thanks for all your efforts.

yeah, I updated in gbpvr as well, but still the schedule is blank. It does seem to update in gbpvr suspiciously quick. I wonder what the problem is?

If you can post the gb-pvr logs from the logs directory right after you run an EPG update I'll bet I can figure out what the problem is.

My guess is you have a duplicate channel number. As -Oz- said, zip and post your gbpvr\logs folder. That will tell what the issue is.

I am getting the same error. I was still experimenting with the program before building an XML file. Now the error will not go away. Ver 1.2.5 Not much in the log.

I can only d/l the schedule.zip once per provider. The next day, I get the schedule not found or corrupted message.

I've used providers GA10439 and GA10439-Digital (Comcast and Comcast Digital for zip 30106) with the same results - I can only d/l the schedule one day and no more.

EDIT: Looks like nothing's working for Atlanta area - I've also tried the other cable provider, Charter, and neither analog or digital listings will d/l for them either. So right now it seems to be dead for Atlanta.

I know what causes that and have fixed it for the next release. it won't go away unless you setup a lineup.

Only advice is to try again later. Also, some people had better luck changing when the EPG updated from the time of 2 or 3am to like 7 or 8am. Mess around with the times. I'm sure it'll come back.

Thanks for the quick response, Dan. I saw the other folks having the same prob but didn't think to change up the time. I've got it scheduled for 7am now so we'll see what happens. The data in the XML looks every bit as good as what we got from zap2it before, as long as it keeps working that is.
