Just setting up your utility. I've downloaded, and tried running it, and I get this in the log.

Switch the EPG plugin to what? XLMTV Plugin?

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me. I updated the epg today but it is missing a lot of channels in the schedule...it only went up to 612 channels where there should be 700+ channels...

First, those errors mean you don't have a valid tv guide (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...XML#toc15). Try again in 24hrs or so at a different time and see if it works (it'll say Process Complete). It takes about that long for Yahoo to make the listings the first time. For setting it up in GBPVR see this: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/EPG#toc19 Don't set it up till you have a good lineup though.

lolento Wrote:Hello,It's a Y! server issue, it is returning the file for download before completely building it. I've seen the issue before. The only thing I can suggest is to try tunning the utility again in a few minutes. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. -Oz- Wrote:Give me your zip code, provider, and please attach your log and ini file and I will take a look.Sorry Dan, not much you can do about this one on your end, unless you want to check for the last channel listed in the download and hang the program for 15 minutes to try again (not recommended). Yahoo's servers are taking a huge hit these days. I've found at least one other program that is pulling their data as well (DigiGuide).

Thanks for the help Oz,
I'm not sure if these are the logs you are looking for, if not, let me know. Shark

shark, here's your problem:
Quote:2007-09-08 11:52:53.406 VERBOSE [3] Loading XMLTV File: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\yapi2xmlIt looks like you are trying to load the directory instead of an actual xml file. It should say something like: Quote:2007-09-08 11:52:53.406 VERBOSE [3] Loading XMLTV File: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Party\yapi2xml\MyFile.xmlDouble check your setting in the GB-PVR Config.

About 7 hours later (Went to bed, tried it again a 6am when the dog woke me up) It's downloading as we speak. -Oz- Wrote:For setting it up in GBPVR see this: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/EPG#toc19 Looks like I'm good to go. I'm also going to use that BAT file that's on the wiki. (Right below the second link you gave me) Thanks
