Hi,
i have some problems with the dutch EPG, which I extract from http://www.tvgids.nl. It used to work, but for some reason it stopped working.

Everynight I download the xml file using XMLTV, and have GB-PVR import the xml at 03:00 am. When finished, I check the EPG in th GUI, but there is no data.

I tried removing the EPG data and re-import, but that doesn't work.

Any ideas ? I'm using version 2313

Edwin

Edwin

the EPG stopped working in all older version of gbpvr at the begining of the month, you have to upgrade to version 0.908 for it to work again.

That explains a lot. I download 12 days ahead, so that's why it doesn't work anymore. I'll upgrade this evening.

Reven, any idea if the 350/150 problem is solved in this release ? You had the same problem as me, as I remember correctly ?
Regards,
Edwin

yeah my 350 and 150 are both working fine now in gbpvr v0.908, there are a few issues, but no more so than any other release really, it seems to run fine for me, never crashes, channel changing is pretty much the same (on 350).

There were some issues with a dutch channel name being renamed (actually a Belgium channel name).
The Belgian channel TV1 is now called "Eén". I read before about someone not able to see any EPG data anymore due to that renaming.

More or less the same problems here. To recapitulate:

- EPG updates are only possible through the Config module. Using the automatic update or creating a button and passing the -onlyupdateepg parameter does not seem to work for me (I am using version 0908)

- the data pulled from tvgids.nl and tvgids.nl_wolf contain the Belgium 1 new channel naming problem described above. I guess this depends on XMLTV not taking this into account (by the way, I'm using XMLTV 5.3.8). Hopefully this will be fixed in a future release of XMLTV.

- Program data displayed on the TV Guide and in other areas of GBPVR contain garbled accented characters and <br> tags all over the place. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

you can try TVGids_to_xml as an alternate grabber, I have no problems with it at the moment.

(and if you do, just mail me, I'll see if i can fix it)
