How to get rid of unwanted plugins

I have a couple of plugins that I want to have removed from the menu (for some reason Weather plug in shows up twice). What sections of the config.xml file do I need to remove to ditch a plugin?

BTW, I have tried 'delete' button in the plugin tab of config with no success. Figure it's just better to edit config.xml... and yes... Make a backup first!

Have you already tried Start-> All Programs -> GBPVR -> Uninstall Weather Plugin?

If there is not installer, or it does not work as expected, you should also be able to remove the plugin from the gbpvr/plugins directory. You'll probably also want to remove the skin directory too. I believe the config program will then update the config.xml file appropriately.
