So once upon at time I was on this forum and asked about entering channel frequencies directly into the config utility but I cannot find it now. It detailed in the channel setup area where you could enter the frequencies directly not a registry edit. Does anyone know where that thread is or how to do it again? I uninstalled GBPVR but backed up the directories before uninstalling. So is it possible that this info is stored some where in there.

@Sub is the manual entry of these frequencies stored in the DB maybe somewhere that I could get it out of there? Or if I just replace the directory and upgrade to 1.0.16 will it pick these frequencies backup? So I dont have to set these all over? I have no shows to be watched should I just start GBPVR with a clean install and clean DB? after removing 99.05 it left lots of scheduled tasks and old show files around that I manually deleted. Thanks.

You can enter a frequency in the place of a channel number in the capture source channel list. ie, in place "23" you might enter "147000000". If its more than 4 digits, then the app treats it as a frequency instead of a channel number.

These frequencies would have been in the gbpvr.db3 database file in the SOURCE_CHANNEL_MAPPING table. You could use a tool like SQLiteSpy to look at the data in that table.

thanks for your prompt reply I will give it a look. I just didnt want to have to find all the freqs again. So do you think that It would be best to just start with a fresh DB on install again?

If you have a full working install of a previous version, then you can just upgrade to the current release, otherwise you'll probably need to re-enter these frequencies you've used.
