I'm having what seems to be a related question....
I've been using GBPVR for some time with no problems, and haven't upgraded or changed software in months, since version 16. Last night while browing recordings to watch, my wife was "fiddling" with the remote - it's a Logitech Harmony 659, programmed for the Hauppague 150 we have.
The sound quit working.
Trying to diagnose, I found that when I open the "master control" - the one you get by clicking on the speaker icon in the tray - that the wav slider was all the way down. I pushed it back up, and windows sounds worked OK, so I started GBPVR again. No sound. Opening the volume control again, the wav slider was all the way down at the bottom again.
With NO idea what my wife's button pushing may have done, I opened Config and (first) looked at the Volume Control settings. I tried all 3, Master/Local/None(external) to no avail. None seems right to me since we use an external audio amplifier for volume control, but even with None selelcted, each time I run GBPVR, the wav slider gets set all the way down.
The Audio Decoder (NVIDIA) and Audio Renderer (Realtek AC97) seem right - stupid me, I didn't write down all the settings from when I first set things up. I did try other renderer settings, but no good.
I can play audio with Windows Media Player, and can play back the last clip with GraphEdit and the audio is just fine.
I'm sure it's just some GBPVR setting that my wife accidentally changed, but I've run out of places to look.
Can anyone help?
Walt

Quote:Try deleting the following registry key if it exists.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Devnz\LastVolume
If that doesnt work, zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.
