Trying to use GB-PVR with this setup, A Hauppauge MCE-500 and XMLTVNZ for a New Zealand EPG causes serious problems with the channels and EPG itself

When EPG is updated, Channel 3 and C4 get duplicated, one good, one static (of each)

Auto record from EPG using C4 just records static.

Basically, how can I get:

* Both tuners working with all channels
* EPG to work with both tuners and record 2 shows at once and not break everything

I cant think of the reason TV3 and C4 would be duplicated. You must of done something funny while trying to set it up.

I'd start again be deleteing the gbpvr.db3 database, then starting the config app, setting up your two capture sources, both configured to use the XMLTV epg source and pointing at the same xmltv file. Next click the 'Update EPG' button to pull in the listings for each of the sources. Make sure the channel numbers are correct in both capture source channel lists. You should only have the one TV3/C4.

It should only create a second TV3/C4 if you use a different xmltv file, and found the spelling of the channel name was slightly different. It'll only record static if the channel number is wrong next to a channel in the capture source channel list.
