EGP no updating

I run the --config.bat. It goes to Schedulesdirect and pulls my channel listing down but it never populates the database. THen I go to try watch live tv I get the erorr message about missing tv listing. Am I missing something?

Click the 'Update EPG' button, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Are you running Vista?

You've strangely configured it to use the xmltv EPG source and have pointed that it at the skin file for the TV Guide. I dont even want to think about why you did that, but its really wrong.

Go into the config app and view your capture source settings. Set the EPG Source to the 'Schedules Direct' option, then click the 'settings' button. Enter your Schedules Direct username into the email address field, and your password in the password field, then press the 'Update EPG' button and you should be golden.

WHne i set the EPG source like said to I receied the error in the attached file. It can't resolve the url listed is basicaly what it is saying. Any ideas?

That is because you havent applied the patch from the sticky 'v1.0.16 survival guide' thread.

I applied it but forgot to shut off recording. Thanks for the help.

I applied the patch with recordingservice off and everything but I still get the same message as in the screenshot above!! Please help

If you get the exact error message above, then you havnt applied the patch.
