[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Because I didnt get any feedback from anyone, I assumed the problem was due to the EPG not auto updating in the last release. Does you EPG now seem to be auto updating correctly?

Nope [Image: smile.gif] Problem still remains. Using Zap2it for my listings, if I drop out of GBPVR then update manually, everything shows up (as far as conflicts go, the TV guide has always updated itself without issue until the recent bug). Allowing it to do it on its on on the 3AM update, the conflicts don't show up. And I can reproduce this all day long, just wish I had some sort of logs to send you or something so you could track it down, it's very annoying and I really don't want to re-install again.

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]I still can't page up/down on very many menu screens (very annoying!Wink.
[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]I dont really remember this coming up in the past. I'm sure it was mentioned, but hasnt been something often requested (so low on the priority list).
Sorry guess I didn't complain loudly enough about it last time, or bump it enough times in the wishlist thread (and whereever else I posted it). Not being able to PgUp/Dn on screens (ie: 20+ shows listed in one group, and I want to get to the bottom show, takes awhile) ... also brings me to my next minor beef, 2 actually (the more I type the more I remember) Wink

One is after deleting a show, again, say at the bottom of the list, the highlight jumps all the way back to the top of the list. If I want to delete the last 2 items on the list, I again have to wait to scroll all the way back down to the bottom of the list!

Two: on groups with short lists (usually 3 or less episodes) when I delete one the highlight sort of goes in limbo (and if I press enter it goes to the main screen with some sort of unreferenced error) unless I press the up arrow.

I tried playing around with the recordings to solve my audio problem but still no luck every single program I record is silent ... [Image: sad.gif]
Sadly I must say I'm having exactly same problems as pierre1313, only I can't watch live TV without time-shift. All recordings are silent and whenever I start liveTV audio appears only after I change program.
In prior versions everything worked OK ?

Please help! I love GBPVR and would like very much to continue using it but it's not possible with silent recordings  [Image: sad.gif]

I'm having the same problem too:

the eHome has always worked perfectly, so I don't think it's the driver. I've reinstalled the 0908 release and also wiped the machine clean with a fresh XP install too, but to no avail. Are there any suggestions or a older release I could fall back to?

Hi Sub,

All of a sudden, the web server is no longer working.

I know it was working two days ago....made some changes in my router and then tested everything and all was good at that point.

Yesterday morning, was bombarded by 9 windows updates and installed all of them. One of them had something to do with updating .Net   Rebooted and the computer seemed OK...but during the day found that the gbpvr web site was no  longer accessible. All my other sites are still OK.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Could it be your firewall ? I Had the same problem. After opening up the port then the  problem was solved.

If you are running XP make sure that the personnal firewall that comes with SP 2 is turned off or the port is open. It is located under the control pannel.

Try deleting all the .dll's EXCEPT gbweb.dll from the web/bin folder. Then restart the recording service. This should make sure that you're using the latest version of those dll's.

(I had the same issue and did this and it helped)

Thanks for the suggestion about deleting .dlls in web\bin.

will try this on sunday (will be away until then).

fairly certain it's not a firewall issue, since it was working after i made some changes a few days ago (tested it then to be certain). and if i use the local address, avoiding the router/firewall altogether, i get the same result. i'm running 2003 server and (horrors) i'm not using a software firewall.

Hi all
Back on the audio issues, here is what I found out this morning :

- If I do NOT have the 'Use Live preview if available' option checked I do not get any audio at all.
tsangc have you experienced this as well ?
if the option is checked however I get the audio only after changing the channel. I tried uninstalling reinstalling redeinstalling and rereinstalling always the same ....

side comment : if I use the deinterlacing filter with the 'Deinterlace' option (in the config utility in the misc tab) no video is sent out, all the other options are fine. anyone seen this ?

I tried this new version today - and unfortunately with my Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe USB - when I try to view, record or use live tv option - I just got follwing error message:

Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

And in the log file (GBPVR.exe.log) I could see this detailed error message:
